Every month, we come together in group sessions and one-on-one coaching to make sure each stylist is reaching their goals, both personally and professionally.

We also partner with local cosmetology schools, bringing in new graduates, pairing them with mentors behind the chair, and giving them the tools to build their own guest base with confidence.

On top of that, CBK is proud to be a Black Level Elite Redken and Pureology Salon. This elite status gives us access to some of the best education in the entire industry. We’ve welcomed top stylists from across the U.S.—and even from The Exchange in New York City—to bring world-class knowledge right here to Trenton.

1. Level System Career Path

    •    Stylists begin at Level 1 and can advance through Levels 2–6+.

    •    Promotions are based on performance benchmarks, such as:

    •    Guest count (how many clients you serve)

    •    Pre-booking % (clients rebooking before they leave)

    •    Retail sales (products per guest)

    •    Service sales (average ticket size per client)

    •    Moving up means higher pricing, better commission rates, more schedule flexibility, and higher demand for your chair.
